WDSS is searching for a Hackathon Officer to develop and run our termly hackathon events.

• Ideate and develop hackathon concepts, working with other societies, charities, and industry links.
• Arrange and manage the logisics of hackathons.
• Work with other society members to arrange workshops and talks related to hackathons.
• Support with the running of smaller competitions for teaching and research.

• Moderate experience with organising events and leadership.
• Self-starting attitude with willingness to develop and excute original ideas.
• A broad understanding of data science is favoured to a narrow focus.
• Strong time-management and organisational skills.
