WDSS is recruiting for members of the WDSS Competition Team. Two teams will be formed based on the programming language in use, Python or R. The Competition Team is going to participate in competitions hosted on platforms such as Kaggle or DrivenData

• Researching and applying machine learning algorithms and statistical models to the challange at hand.
• Pre-processing data as needed.
• Regular meetings with your team to share and discuss your ideas
• Preparing submissions with the team's results

• Knowledge of programming languages, such as R and/or Python.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Motivation to research cutting-edge data science solutions.
• [Preferable] Experience with machine learning and statistical modelling.
• Preferable] Past participation in online data science competitions.
